The Sammy family are parents to two young children living in Mid Wales. They enjoy spending time together as a family in recreation and exploring the countryside.

Since being introduced to True Education, a heartfelt desire to home educate grew and this desire has extended to wanting families to grow together, play together and pray together as God intended. They are engaged in Health Reform, Country Living as well as being a part of the SDA Home Education Association.

After receiving an invitation from another family in 2018 to attended Family Camp, they came, and haven‘t looked back since.  Family Camp, they say, is an opportunity for them to come together as a family, fellowship with other families worshipping God, learn true principles, minister, make new friends and grow as a stronger family unit.

Irene was born and raised in the Netherlands, and is currently a full time medical missionary who works with Medical Missionary Group in Southern Scotland. The more she learns about God, health, true education and family life, the more she loves sharing and teaching God’s beautiful plan for our lives in all areas.

Irene has always considered Family Camp to be a blessing even though she doesn’t have a family of her own yet, because she recognises that Family Camp seeks to not just help the families, but also prepares young people to have a family one day, as well as (more importantly) preparing us to be a part of the Family of Heaven.
